On July 5, 2025, a joint venture composed of China Energy Construction China Power Engineering International, East China Electric Power Design Institute and Hunan Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd. officially signed an early working agreement with Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) in Oman for the early work of the Ibri 3 photovoltaic energy storage power station project in Oman, marking the official entry of this major new energy project into the performance stage.
