Chad Large Energy Storage Project
Chad Iriba 2.5MW/7.776MWh distributed photovoltaic + energy storage project landed in the Iriba region of the Republic of Chad in central Africa, using “photovoltaic + energy storage” integrated design, with a total installed capacity of 2.5 MW, supporting the 7.776 MWh lithium iron phosphate storage system, the goal is to solve the problem of local power shortages, and at the same time enhance the stability of the power grid to consume energy. Port Louis Energy Storage Power Station Project
The project will provide four medium speed, four stroke, heavy fuel oil (HFO) driven generators with a capacity of 15 MW each; a power station building; two 1000 cubic metre tanks for the storage of HFO; and one 132 Kv substation for connection of the power plant to the existing electricity grid belonging to the Central Electricity Board (CEB), the State owned electricity utility in Mauritius.
